Family Visit
This year when Mom and Dad came to visit, we took it a little easier than usual - not as much "touristy" things to do out here in the wine country, although that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of things to keep us occupied. Just enjoying the nice, August weather being one.
In that spirit, hanging out by/in the pool was a popular option, although I still maintain that 75 degrees is a little chilly for pool water.
We also managed to fit in a couple of our favorite activities, such as picnicking at a winery
and a visit to Cornerstone
with a pitstop in the Big Blue Chair.
Finally, we celebrated Mom's and Dad's wedding anniversary at Saddles Steakhouse
with a stroll around the lovely grounds to top it off.
No giant chess game for us this time, but there's always next year.
