Giants Game

While Steve was in town, our friend JJ came up from San Diego. Sonny and Yvette joined us all for a Giants baseball game. Before the game, the crew enjoyed cigars, shrimp pie, and bloody maries.

We then headed out to the game.

It was a beautiful day, with gorgeous views from and of the stadium.

We had great seats in the sun from which to enjoy the game.

If you didn't know this already, Sonny likes hot dogs.

I was excited because the mascot, Lou Seal, visited our section.

I like his giant world series championship ring.

From our vantage point, we spied "The Beard" warming up. For those of you who do not live in Giantsville, "The Beard" is closing pitcher, Brian Wilson. Under his cap, he sports a part-mohawk, part-mullet. He dies his full beard several shades darker than his normal hair, although he denies this and says the beard is just really tan. He started growing it during the world series and has kept it going. It has become quite the celebrity and even has its own Facebook page.

A good time was had by all, and the Giants beat the Indians 1 to 0.

If you can believe it, there was even more drinking and eating after the game. These photos do not even show the pizza the guys ordered after we got back to the apartment!
