Nice Weather!!
We finally had some nice weather, at least outside the city, so we headed out to Sonoma for a picnic. First, we tried our favorite winery, Benziger, but they were holding a wine club event. So we headed down the road to Kunde.
Kunde was also really crowded, but we managed to find a table and enjoyed our picnic in the glorious 75 degree weather.
The scenery was beautiful,
with fresh buds sprouting on the vines.
I even spied the resident winery gopher, popping up out of the ground.
Tom lured him out of his hole with a Cheezit,
chased him down,
and snapped an attractive photo of him, ferociously baring his little teeth at Tom.
It reminded me a little bit of this:
Au revoir, gopher!
On the way home, we saw a pretty cow.
There are quite a few of them scattered throughout wine country.
There are real ones, too. (Go Beevo!)
We also saw some lovely angel wings that moved with the breeze.
We eventually made it back into the foggy city and the 58 degree weather.
All in all, it was a pleasant day of wine and wildlife!

Brandon said that the gopher reminded him of Lola. =)
