Sunday Dinner at Uncle Art's
On Sunday, we took my parents out to Livermore for a visit with Dad's friend, Art.
Another of Dad's friends, Bruce, came in from Napa to join us.
Dad stayed at the house to check out Art's collections and other cool stuff,
while Bruce took the rest of us out wine tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed Murrieta's Well and Thomas Coyne,
while a few of the others, although interesting, left a little to be desired. The 2-for-1 white Cabernet at one of the wineries had Bruce running for the hills!
At the end of the day, Art cooked us an outstanding meal of grilled steak, potatoes, and sweet corn. Bruce brought pie from the Black Bear Diner, which wrapped up the day on a perfect note.
